The issue was a cracked heat exchanger

My carbon monoxide detectors kept going off in my house. I started to get super irritated with them. I figured they must have been faulty. All the sudden, out of the purple, I have CO2 coming out of my ears? I unplugged them plus forgot about them for around a month. Then I noticed I had flu-like symptoms flaring up a lot. I would get headaches, feel nausea, plus be fatigued. I started reseeing it plus it came back as CO2 poisoning. What is going on? I had to dig deep to find out what was causing carbon monoxide in my home. Well I do have a gas furnace. If the heat exchanger on a gas furnace cracks, it releases an smellless, tasteless, plus scentless gas known as carbon monoxide. I had a Terrell, TX furnace maintenance company come over instantly to assess the task. The guy noticed the issue immediately. I had a cracked heat exchanger. What sucks about that furnace maintenance is how extravagant it is. It is about on par with a brand new heater. The guy entirely advised me to just make the replace. You beginning with a brand new system. But a new system can be around three to six thousand. The most the heat exchanger would cost is three thousand. The cheapest was five hundred. Thankfully the guy then did a full assessment plus figured it would be on a cheaper end. So I made the TX maintenance over the substitutement. I am just cheerful I am not being poisoned anymore. That was the upsetting part after all.
